- January 6th
Potting RX-Are you unsure what type of pot to use for what plant? Do you have plants that seem to be trying to escape? Should they be repotted? All your potting questions will be answered by our member discussion panel. Bring in your plants for a potting diagnosis!

Terrestrial Orchids-Come learn about the varied and exciting group of orchids known as Terrestrial Orchids. There are many more than you might think!
- March 3rd
Judging a Winner-What makes a winner? Learn what AOS and NCOS judges are looking for when they peer over your orchids.
- April 7thANNUAL PLANT SWAP-Members are encouraged to bring clean, bug free and healthy orchid plants to donate to the swap. These can be plants you bought and then couldn't figure out why... Plants you divided, plants you're not growing well and want to give a chance to live... Anything! The key is that they are clean and insect/disease free.

Bring them along, put them on the table with all the others, and when your number is drawn, you get to pick a plant from all on the table.
This is an excellent way to add to your collection, as well as perhaps try a genera you are unfamiliar with, and not sure you can grow. Members donate some pretty incredible plants to this, so you are almost guaranteed not to go away disappointed! Non-members are welcome but you need to bring a plant to participate in the plant swap.

Miniatures-Why are these types of orchids so fascinating? Come learn about various species and what to look for to make sure you have the best plant for your growing environment.

Photographing Your Orchids-Learn tips from a pro. We'll have a simple tabletop set up to show you how you can capture your orchids at their best.

Orchid Book Swap-Need to clean out your library? Bring any type of orchid-realted book or periodical to share. We'll do this just like the orchid swap.
- October
Greenhouse Tour-We won't be having our regular meeting at the Mason District Governmental Center this month, instead we will be headed to a local greehouse. Additional details will be posted when they become available.
