- January 9th - Planning meeting
- February 13th - Growing Paphiopedilums (Slipper Orchids). Do you have a Paphiopedilum that is not blooming? Do you think you may have an award winning plant? Then bring your Slipper Orchid to our February 13th Meeting!
- March 13th - Mac Goekler, an award-winning and long-time grower will speak on “The Art and Science of Benign Neglect”
- April 10th ANNUAL PLANT SWAP-Members are encouraged to bring clean, bug free and healthy orchid plants to donate to the swap. These can be plants you bought and then couldn't figure out why... Plants you divided, plants you're not growing well and want to give a chance to live... Anything! The key is that they are clean and insect/disease free.
Bring them along, put them on the table with all the others, and when your number is drawn, you get to pick a plant from all on the table.
This is an excellent way to add to your collection, as well as perhaps try a genera you are unfamiliar with, and not sure you can grow. Members donate some pretty incredible plants to this, so you are almost guaranteed not to go away disappointed! Non-members are welcome but you need to bring a plant to participate in the plant swap.
- May 15th - HANDS ON WORKSHOP TERRARIUMS
Different Night due to scheduling conflicts
HHOS will be supplying materials for members. Have a plant or two you think would perk up in a higher humidity environment? Maybe you have a few companion plants that will be a good match? African Violets, gesneriads, ferns and mosses all make good companion plants. Glass containers, plants and growing medium will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own materials too or to share with other members. Smaller glass and plants will be provided so if you have a plant larger than 2-3"x5" you should look for glass to accommodate the plant and bring it to the meeting.
- June 19th - ORCHIDS OF THAILAND
Different Night due to scheduling conflicts
Ken Meier will be discussing the Orchids of Thailand. He will review some of the more common orchids from Thailand as well as some of the more obscure. His recent travels in Thailand have given Ken the excellent opportunity to visit some of the orchid rich jungles of Thailand and even visit some of the orchid production nurseries. Come visit the orchids of Thailand without leaving your seat!

- NO MEETINGS JULY & AUGUST

- December 11th - Annual Holiday Party and Gift Exchange-Potluck party with a great gift exchange. Always a blast. Bring a wrapped orchid-related gift with a value of at least $10-$15 and dish or drinks to share.
